The games’ removal will not effect already purchased games/DLC, and you’ll be able to re-download them at any time. ![]() ![]() There’s also no word on why this is happening, but it’s most likely due to contracts running out on the Marvel character’s licensing. No word on if there will be an Xbox sale or if this will effect the Vita version, or if Marvel vs Capcom: Origins will be taken down. If you want to play as Jill, Shuma, or get any costumes, now’s the time to buy them. On Xbox, UMvC3 is 80% off (5.09$), every costume is 4.99, and Jill and Shuma are 2.99 in all. Until the games are removed, PSN is having a 50% off sale on the games as well as DLC. The games will be taken down on Xbox Marketplace 12/26 around the world and PSN 12/17 in North America and 12/19 everywhere else. Marvel vs Capcom 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, and all the DLC attatched to the games are being removed from both PSN and Xbox Marketplace.
